IR Digital Concepts 2.1 Mod

Recommended Posts

Does this cam have a black and white setting, and if so will it hold that pix effect when the cam is cycled on-off-on?

Badger, sorry for all the posting. Not trying to hyjack your thread. I've never done an IR mod before and feel like a kid with a new toy!

No problem here on the hijack. I know the kid feeling, don't get that very often when your in the 40's. That picture looks good and clear, I did mine off-hand and may not been still.

Since Badger appears to be out or sleeping, I'll give you a summary. Since he was the first to do one, I'm going to leave the mods to him unless he says something contrary. Basically you take the whole bloody thing apart, remove the lens housing, scrape, pick, or in some way get the ir filter out from the back of the lens housing, and reassemble.

Once youve done one, its not bad at all. The first one takes a while.

 Once the sun goes down, I think it will go to black and white. Flash should be way more effective too.

Good work guys

Good work

Just my :2cents:

But you need to use more than one layer of edmonds on the camera flash.

More like 3.

If you use only one you still have a visable flash. 3 should make it a faint Red flash is all when you look directly at the camera.

This will get the results you are looking for. STEALTH

If not you might as well have a regular flash.

Still looks great.
