Maybe a dozen. I would attempt to make them myself, but my dexterity is not what it used to be.

How do you take the light apart without tearing it up?

Where the led housing and the battery meet. You need to tear the battery housing back. Then the LED housing will come out. Next, you can remove the plastic housing from from the led. Its not held i there by anything. You should be able to push it out.

Just to let those know who are curious what these things weigh.

I weighed them on a digital scale and the plain GT nock that I used weighed 13gr and after I modified it it weighed 25.5gr. I have only measured 2 but they both weighed the same!

So it actually only added 12.5gr to my arrows! Prett cool and well worth it!

Just FYI! Thanks!

I have ruined 2 LEDs so far. Does anyone know where I might be able to buy just the small LED. These things are super bright and the ones at RAT SHACK are too big and not bright at all!

Thanks!

You say these will work on carbom arrows? Mine arrows don't have any metal at all and I don't see how it would work with them.

nboost,

Carbon (Graphite) is a conductor of electricity!

Arrow does not have to be metal!!!
