BG1 Complete Board Template

Recommended Posts

Here's a .jpeg of the BG1 Complete Board drilling template.

If you size the picture so the board's outside border measures 2 25/32" by 1 27/32", the hole locations will be correct then.

Just getting ahead.....

My printer had to be set at 49% size ratio to reduce the .jpeg down to the correct size. This should give you a rough idea where to start.

Hags,

Just curious if you keep your templates in a CAD file that could be pulled into AutoCad and used with a CAD drawing of an enclosure?

No...it's in the software I use to draw the boards.

It could be exported as a gerber file, but I'm not sure about autocad.

Yes, the BG1 will come with a template.....this is just in case you misplace the supplied template, or I forget to send it.....it's happened.

thanks jcosmo for the autocad drawings...should come in handy for those who know how to run autocad.

Treetop,

The first run of the BG1 Complete Boards are due in next week. I'll be testing the chip code for probably another week or so and then they will be for sale.

Roughly around the 28th of August.

Just so I get this right since I'm new to this...

If I want to mount things so the box is vertical on the tree then I need a horizontal PIR? Is that correct? Or is it really dependant on how I want to mount the board in the box?
