My New Micro W55/ssii Cam

Recommended Posts

Well, I received my SSII today so have been finishing my fitup, its definately a squeeze but so far so good...I modified the case front and am adding a small 2"x3" radio shack box cut down to 2"x 2-5/8" and also chopped the height 1/4" for the SSII to mount into...

The small box will be mounted on the front of the case...so far everything fits, just in the process of epoxying everything...

I checked to make sure the SSII housing does not block any view from the camera lense and lucky enough it doesnt so it should get some nice pics as long as I dont lose it...

It consists of:

Otter 1000

Radio shack 2x3 box

homemade snorkel

homemade mounting bracket

Sony W55

SSII (this board is small :) )

I'll post a few pics of whats done so far, then tomorrow the finished product...hopefully it works... :o

well, gotta wait a little longer, dummy me forgot to order a battery when I ordered the board...lol

Hi John,

Yep, It was right on the money, I had about 3/32 to play with on top of that so it worked perfect......thank you for that, that helped me get it all

ready to install the new board..

man I really like this little board, it has my mind a workin on some new idear's....I'm thinkin a D380 in a "cut in half" 1060 with a slave.... B) kinda like my "cut in half" 380/1420 plano...

That's a pretty neat small build. I like the micro builds and this one is about as small as I've seen. Pretty cool!!
