Posting Picaxe Codes

Recommended Posts

In my opinion & recent experience, please post codes as a .txt file & attach the file to the end of your post/message. This way members can save the file and import the file into their Picaxe editor on their computer with ease.

Once imported, you can save it within Picaxe edititor as a .bas file.

Now let's see those codes! :)

Ummm..... .txt and .bas file, attach file to post. Yeah right. I am lucky to get my computer or tablet in this case turned on. What's wrong with copying code here and pasting in the editor? Now I need computer lessons as well. 😨

John, nothing wrong with how you like to do it. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" :)

I just wanted to post up a suggestion. You attach a file just like adding pictures to your posts as long as they meet the file size requirements.

I found the .txt files are easy for many types of computers to "understand". It also keeps the text indents (format) relatively accurate. Sometimes I find the cutting & pasting of codes can cause the text to "bunch up" and makes it harder to decipher for me.
