It's Back.

Recommended Posts

I was out of action back in 2013 for 3 months and a good mate of mine asked if he could borrow a trailcam. No worries...I gave him a simple sniper 1 in a 1040 case with 4 aa as external power.

Where he set it up there wasn't any trees close enough to lock it to so he made up a tipee of branches and draped the python lock around the top to hold it into position. I'll never see that again I thought. To cut a long story short he set it up in August 2013 and retrieved it in July 2015. The last photo taken was in November 2013 when I suspect the batteries went flat.

There were 723 photos on the card and the rub tree it was watching had died and the bush had grown up all around it completely concealing it.

No water in the case and with new batteries all round the old simple sniper powered the S600 up and it still works like it just came off the bench.

Here are some of the photos.

Whenever I read a thread like this it makes me think I have a cam out there somewhere I've forgotten. Great pics and glad it was retrieved safely.
