I haven't been bit by a camera capacitor yet... but a slave capacitor got the best of me once.

Attached is some info I came across and wanted to share about discharging the flash capacitor per Sony.

Just another option to have.

I made a jig with a big ceramic resistor and 2 insulated clips a couple of years ago. It sure has helped keep me from throwing cameras!
