Ok first of all. This board comes ready to use or do I have to program it?

And can I bypass the motion kill switch like on the regular sniper board by just soldering it together?

And I can't find where exactally on the simple sniper board itself are the contact points for me to solder to(common, power, shutter) I see them written on there but it is confusing what is what.

And can I use the 3 flat wire/stereo jack plug for this unit if Im using the P-41?

Thanks Guys.

Az

-Board is ready to use

-You can bypass the switch by bridging on the board. I have Gary take them off when I order them.

-No need to solder, the screws are right there to install your wire. Look for the screw thats beside the writing and install. Simple.

Hope this helps. I love these boards. Simple and efficient.

You the man StkBow!!

Thanks!!!

But Im a bit slow I guess. I see the 4 screws where I would run my wires too, but cant clarify which screw is which function(commom, ground, power, shutter) or are there only 3 functions on the P-41's? I can't remember.

And can I use the stereo plug option so I can use the P-41 seperate from the trail cam?

Here is how the board connections are configured

and yes you can use a stereo jack connection
You only need power, shutter and common on the P41 (power common and shutter common are the same)

Happy Building

Here is a link to a good board modification that bypasses the motion sensor and allows the board to begin in walk test mode each time the board is powered up manually by the toggle switch

Board Modification

Another couple things to be cautious about,

make sure you have insulating washers under the board screws and if you are using a pro duo card in the P41 you may not catch every picture with the standard programming on the board

OK got the cam hacked and the on/off switch mod done.

I am having trouble figuring out the stereo plug from SSS. The flat wire with the female stereo has a mark on the one side with the 3 little flat contact points, is this for orientaion? Then on the male stereo it has a bare, a white, and a red wire, how does this corridinate with the flat female piece? Which is common, power, and shutter? THanks.

Here's how to install the cable in the P41.

http://www.snapshotsniper.com/ModP41.pdf

Then:
Red = Shutter
White = Power
bare = common/ground

Hope this helps,
Gary
